In addition to his artwork, Stephen Cassle also travels throughout West Virginia and Virginia offering Civil War living history programing and reenactments. His depiction of General Thomas Jonathan "Stonewall" Jackson has been described as one of the most accurate presentations being done today. He has spoken at many events in recent years which includes the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Virginia.
In addition to his living history presentations and artwork, Cassle is also one of West Virginia's most notable craftsmen. His Wooden Warriors, unique Civil War figurines created from wooden thread spools, are sought by collectors throughout the United States. Cassle also does other Civil War related artwork in pencil and paintings.
